The lad's of good Stock: Irons want Fulham keeper

West Ham are planning a summer bid for Fulham goalkeeper David Stockdale, according to the Express.

Cottagers boss Martin Jol is a fan of the 27 year old but would be prepared to offload him in order to free up some funds for his main summer transfer target, Roma keeper Maarten Stekelenburg, and an offer of £4m would reportedly be enough to persuade the West Londoners to sell Stockdale, who has spent most of this season on loan at Championship outfit Hull City.

The Tigers would potentially be keen on a permanent deal for the former Darlington stopper, but that is likely to be conditional on their gaining promotion this season. The Yorkshire side currently sit 2nd in the Championship and can guarantee themselves Premier League football next term with a win on Saturday at relegation-threatened Barnsley.

The Hammers have now been linked with both Fulham goalkeepers in the last fortnight, with recent reports linking Australia international Mark Schwarzer with a summer move to Upton Park.

We're just Ful of it at the moment...
