Irons confident of Diame new deal

West Ham believe that midfielder Mohammed Diame will sign a new improved deal at the club this summer, according to Sports Direct News. The midfielder was linked with a move away from the Boleyn Ground in the January transfer window but nothing materialised, despite reports on deadline night that the player's believed £5m release clause had been triggered by a rival Premier League club. Now, the Hammers hierarchy are confident that the Senegal international will, in SDN's source's words "see where he is well off," and put pen to paper on a long term deal in the summer.

About time too, that boy would do well to get himself a new agent...
