Irons target Kalou would "love" Premier League return

Former Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou has today told the Sun that he is open to a move away from France, where he currently plies his trade for Lille- and that his ideal destination would be England, where he spent six seasons at Stamford Bridge.

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce has been keen on the Ivory Coast star for some time now and could be primed for a summer swoop, with Lille keen to cut their losses with Kalou, who has been free-scoring in Ligue One this season but is on wages which the club cannot afford.

The 27 year old told the Sun today that he would 'love' a return to England, saying "I spent six seasons in the country and I am crazy about the Premier League. Players' careers change so quickly- you never know what will happen tomorrow."

Arsenal have also been linked with a summer move for Kalou, so the Hammers could face competition for the experienced forward.
