Out on the Raz: Irons to miss out on Romanian wonderkid

West Ham are set to miss out on the signing of 16 year starlet Razvan Popa, Romanian newspaper Porsport are reporting today. The Hammers have been tracking the explosive midfielder, who made his debut for second tier side Sportul Studentesc, renowned in Romania for their youth academy, aged just 15 last season.  At one point it looked as if West Ham had clinched the signing of football's next big thing, but Italian giants Inter Milan now look to have this one sewn up with Popa preparing to pen a five year deal with I Nerazzuri, who have paid around £250,000 for the player.

Plenty more explosive wonderkids in the sea...
