Irons to pay Wolves 'full whack' for £10m Jarvis

West Ham will be paying Wolverhampton Wanderers the full amount of transfer fee for wing wizard Matt Jarvis, Sports Direct News are reporting today.

The one-time England midfielder signed for an original £7m last summer, with the rest of the money conditional on clauses. However, co-chairman David Gold has today stated that all of those clauses have been met, so the Hammers will be splashing out an eventual fee on Jarvis which will break the club's record transfer fee and push the deal up to £10.25m.

"We'll be paying top whack for Jarvis," Gold revealed today. "It looks like all of the clauses [which reportedly included appearances, survival and money at the end of the season for league appearances] will be met so it'll be the fee in full."

The 26 year old has only scored two goals this season for the club, but finally looks like he's settled in and is upbeat about his future in East London, saying today that he 'felt the pressure of the price tag' but he is 'very happy here' and believes he and his teammates can make a real impact on the league in the coming seasons.
