Dev Squad face Spurs test at Boleyn Ground

West Ham’s Development Squad will be in action again tonight, and this will be one of the games played under the floodlights at the Boleyn Ground.

Four matches were elected to be played at the home of the first team, and tonight’s clash with rivals Tottenham Hotspur is the third of the four.

Matches are normally played at Gray's Athletic's Rush Green ground, but the side are tonight relishing the opportunity to play at the Boleyn.

Manager Nick Haycock previously spoke to whufc.com about the opportunity, saying "it just raises the environment for the boys to prepare themselves for the biggest challenge, namely when they do step out in that domain for the first team.”

With Tottenham currently sitting 10 points clear at the top of the Barclays U21 Premier League Elite Group, this will be a tough test for the Hammers, who could do with a win.

Kick-off is at 7pm, so if you’re around the Boleyn Ground, give the lads your support. Season Ticket holders can get in free, adult tickets are £3 and concessions are £1.
