You must be Joe-king: Cole out of action for four weeks with recurring hamstring injury

West Ham star Joe Cole will be out of action for at least a month, it is being reported today. The Hammers playmaker came off after only 11 minutes of the 1-0 victory at Stoke City on Saturday after feeling his hamstring tighten and although there appeared to be no initial damage, Blowing Bubbles understands his substitution was a precaution taken at the time by manager Sam Allardyce, given the England man's problems in the past with this particular injury. However, further examination has revealed that the ex Chelsea midfielder has indeed suffered what is a recurring hamstring injury and is likely to be out for at least a month- and will definitely miss the trip to Stamford Bridge to face his old club a week on Sunday. As ever, we'll keep you bang up to date with all the latest on this, so keep watching Blowing Bubbles.
