McCallum for Shots

West Ham's teenage striker Paul McCallum has joined League Two outfit Aldershot Town on loan for a month, Sky Sports have just reported.

The 19 year old striker has been in blistering form this season; netting 6 goals in 12 appearances for the Hammers' Development Squad and hitting the back of the net 4 times in 6 appearances in a productive loan spell at the Shots' League Two rivals Wimbledon, earlier in the season.

Aldershot boss Andy Scott said that he was delighted to welcome McCallum to the club, saying that the West Ham man had "impressed" him and that he knows the player wants to score the goals to keep the Shots in the Football League.

The young forward, who recently signed a new two and a half year contract at the Boleyn Ground, tweeted a few hours ago, "On route Bradford another long old journey" and so is obviously straight into the squad for Saturday's game against Bradford City- for whom McCallum's Hammers team mate Blair Turgott just finished a loan spell.
