Pav the man puts down transfer talk after reported Hammers interest

Reading striker Pavel Pogrebnyak has rubbished rumours in recent days linking him to West Ham, describing the stories as "bullshit" on Russian website Sport Express.

"These stories are nonsense, I haven't heard anything about it and don't want to comment until the end of the championship," the Russian international said.

"We'll talk everything over with the president at the end of the season- but we won't be relegated."

The former Fulham forward however suggested that in the event Reading were relegated, he would be keen to remain in England, stating that his priority is England. Southampton are also reported to be keen on Pogrebnyak, who has scored 8 goals in all competitions this season, and both the Saints and West Ham are said to have held talks with the powerful 29 year old.

And so the summer transfer rumour mill begins...
