Dortmund dithering on Dan- Bundesliga side will not make decision on West Ham target's future for moment

Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund are staying tight-lipped on the future of young striker Daniel Ginczek, according to the player's agent Bjorn Etzel.

The 21 year old has reportedly attracted interest from the Hammers and from what Etzel has said today, it seems our scouts have flown to Germany to watch the player, who has yet to play for the Dortmund first team and has been on loan to St Pauli in German football's second tier, scoring 12 goals so far this season.

"I was at Daniel's last game but did not see or speak to anyone from West Ham- I only know what I have read in the press about them," Etzel told Sky Sports today.

One wonders where the link to the Irons has come from in that case. The German U21 international's agent also says that German champions Dortmund will not make any decision on the player's future at the club until later this month, at the earliest.

"Dortmund don't know what they want to do yet; we will wait till later in March or even April and then Dortmund will know what they want to do."

This definitely looks like one worth watching; this lad has some very impressive stats in German football and is clearly too good to be rotting in the lower leagues or in the Dortmund reserves. We'l be following this one closely and will keep you posted with all the latest.
