West Ham look likely to miss out on the summer signing of Shakhtar Donetsk full back Razvan Rat as French giants Marseille look to tie up a deal for the 31 year old. Rat was on Sam Allardyce's radar during the January transfer window but no move materialised; however, a second attempt to sign the Romania international in the summer was a possibility. But this is now looking increasingly likely as the Europa League side have, according to
TalkSport, offered Rat a two year contract in France and are advanced negotiations with the player, with a deal expected to be confirmed within the next couple of weeks.
