The game will now take take place on Wednesday 17th April at 7.45pm and will be live on Sky Sports.
The match was originally scheduled to take place on 9th March with a 12.45 kick off, but due to Man United’s involvement in the FA Cup, there was a forced postponement. With the FA Cup result against Chelsea a draw, this means further delay as a replay is necessary.
The club have confirmed that match tickets previously purchased for the original game will still be valid for this rearranged fixture. Remaining tickets are on general sale.
This might be a good time to face Alex Ferguson’s side. If they are still involved in the FA cup for the semi-finals, they will have a very busy period and there might even be less pressure on them in the league, with rivals Manchester City in second place and trailing 12 points behind the Red Devils.
