The Italian Job: Di Canio "flattered" by West Ham rumours

Hammers legend Paolo Di Canio has spoken out about being linked to the vacant manager's job at Reading and possible links with West Ham.

He has denied having any involvement in either club, stating that it would be unfair to be linked with West Ham as Sam Allardyce is still firmly in the job and it was a coincidence he was at Reading just before Brian McDermott was sacked.

He admits to being flattered by rumours that he could get a Premier League job after resigning from his Swindon post earlier this year.

Di Canio also told BBC Sport he hopes Sam Allardyce will get success at West Ham because that is the club he cares about most.

To see the full interview with a very cool looking Di Canio, tune in to Football Focus tomorrow.
