It's Hall going on: Irons starlet wanted by Liverpool as contract talks stall

West Ham striker Rob Hall could be on the move in the summer, according to reports over the weekend. The 18 year old striker has recently returned from a highly productive loan spell at Championship side Birmingham City, where his impressive displays up front caught the eye.

Among the eyes caught are believed to be those of Premier League rivals Liverpool, Fulham and Southampton. Academy graduate Hall is tipped to be the next Jermain Defoe after making his West Ham debut in January 2012 but is yet to sign a new contract at the club and with his current deal set to expire in the summer, one of the gang of three could move in and snap up this young talent on the cheap.

The news has not escaped the attention of Hammers fans, and Hall yesterday retweeted messages on social networking site Twitter such as "please say you going to sign a new contract with #westham" so the young striker is aware how the fans feel about his situation. One to keep an eye on- we'll keep you posted.
