Corch blimey! French star keen on summer move as West Ham move in

French U21 international Sebastian Corchia could be on his way to the Boleyn Ground in the summer, says Sky Sports. The full back has been linked with some of Europe's most illustrious clubs, including Champions League quarter finalists Bayern Munich and now interest from Hammers boss Sam Allardyce has become public knowledge.

The 22 year old currently plays for Sochaux in Ligue One, and with the club struggling in the relegation zone in France, a summer move could well be on the cards. He has a contract at the club till 2015, but may well be tempted to move now while the going's good.

Corchia says that "people are working on" any possible move, but that he wants to help Sochaux secure survival in the French top flight before considering any possible move away from the club.

"Above all, I want to get safety for Sochaux before thinking about me- my value and possible opportunities if we remain in Le Championnat or not."

This boy is definitely one to watch for the future; having been previously linked with a move to Arsenal and with Werder Bremen, Monaco, Juventus and Lyon all reportedly interested in his services and with left back a major problem position for us, we'd do well to get in there now and snap up this rising star, who already has 26 caps for the French U21s.
