"Ambitious" Bony cagey on Hammers link

In the midst of widespread reports in Holland and England that Wilfried Bony is set to sign for West Ham with his agents representatives believed to be in London this afternoon for talks with the Irons, the man himself is refusing to make any comment one way or the other on his future.

The 24 year old told Sky Sports an hour ago that he is "an ambitious player who loves the Premier League" and that he "wants to play there if there is an opportunity" but then deliberately drew the conversation onto another topic, stating that he was "happy" that he had helped his national side the Ivory Coast win their last match.

This sounds very much like standard procedure.. Bony's agents have likely told him to stay schtum while talks are ongoing and to deadbat all media requests for comment on the move in this fashion. More news expected later, so keep watching Blowing Bubbles!
