Un, deux, Troisi- Irons after ex Newcastle midfielder James

West Ham have been linked with Australian international midfielder James Troisi. According to Sky Sports, the Hammers face competition from West Bromwich Albion for the 24 year old Socceroo, who currently plys his trade for Serie A side Atalanta. Troisi can play on the left flank or down the centre, and has an impressive CV for a young man. He was once on the books of Premier League rivals Newcastle, who let him go at the end of the 2007/2008; he then enjoyed productive spells at Turkish sides Genclerbirligi and Kayserispor, before signing for Atalanta via Juventus as part of the deal which took Manolo Gabbiadini to Bologna. Bi Sam may be tempted to add more attacking depth to his squad, with the Hammers's strikeforce looking somewhat blunted in recent games.
