There could yet be a late development in the complex transfer drama surrounding Alou Diarra. The France international, 31, had looked set to sign for French side Rennes on a six month loan, with widespread reports in the French media of an imminent anouncement of the signing from the Ligue One outfit, but sources inform Blowing Bubbles that our Premier League rivals West Bromwich Albion have made an inquiry for the player. All will become much clearer over the next few hours- we'll keep you posted!
