Blowing Bubbles understands from sources in France that Alou Diarra's loan move to Rennes has been finalised, subject to a medical, for which the player is currently in France with a view to sitting- and that the transfer will see him go to the French side for the remainder of the season, and is with a view to a £2 million deal. The 31 year old has made it clear his wish to leave the Hammers and now has his wish granted. It is not yet clear how much of Diarra's wages West Ham will pay while he is plying his trade in France. Confirmation is expected on whufc.com in the next couple of hours.
