Hammers up offer for brilliant Bedimo

According to the Mirror, West Ham are set to offer French club Montpellier £2 million for their Cameron international left back Henri Bedimo. The Irons had a £1.75 million offer rejected earlier this week, and boss Sam Allardyce is keen to seal the deal before the madness of transfer deadline day commences next week and Montpellier start demanding silly money for the player. The left back position has been our priority during this transfer window after injuries to George McCartney and Dan Potts, and despite ex England international and Austria captain Emmanuel Pogatetz both reportedly on their way to the Boleyn Ground, Big Sam is taking no chances and is reportedly prepared to pay over the odds to land the experienced Bedimo.
