Reid likely to start at Craven Cottage

Blowing Bubbles understands from sources close to centre half Winston Reid that the New Zealand international, who limped out of the 5-1 defeat to Arsenal last week clutching his groin, is in line to start the Premier League match against Fulham this evening. Reid, who has had scans on the injury, has we understand, been told the problem was only a slight strain and is nothing serious; meaning the defender is in line for a return at Craven Cottage tonight. This news will come as a big boost to manager Sam Allardyce, who had been fretting over the fitness of his defenders, with James Collins, George McCartney and Dan Potts all still sidelined with various problems. Good to have you back, Winston!
