Big Sam blasts away form

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has insisted that his team has to do better away from home than they have been in recent games.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow’s clash with Fulham, Allardyce recognised his side’s lack of goals has been a problem.

Allardyce said: “"The biggest message is to play better than we have been away from home. We haven't been able to secure a clean sheet for an awful long time. That and the shortage of goals particularly away from home - we've got to improve all of that.”

He also hopes that despite a winter break, Emanuel Pogatetz will be fit for inclusion in the squad, while Blowing Bubbles revealed exclusively on Monday that big striker Andy Carroll, out injured for the last two months, is set for a place on the bench tonight.

Big Sam’s side will play the game with the known confusion surrounding central midfielder Momo Diame and Alou Diarra. The Hammers have to move on and focus on getting an important three points.
