Sam Allardyce could be set to make an offer to Ukrainian side Dnipro for defender Samuel Inkoom.
The 23 year-old Ghana international has not been happy at his club for some time and Allardyce believes that he could solve West Ham’s defensive issues.
Inkoom did not travel to the Africa Cup of Nations with his national side, which would make a January transfer an option, and his agent Christian Emile has confirmed that there is interest to sign him.
Emile said: "Last summer, a Premier League club and Sporting Lisbon did put forward an offer for Inkoom. However, an agreement was not reached...During this window, there has been a lot of interest shown in Samuel across Europe so we are considering things carefully."
With just over a week left until the transfer window closes, Big Sam will be in a hurry to capture the signature of a defender and this young talent could fill the void.
