Blowing Bubbles understands from BBC Sport's Ian Dennis that the proposed deal to sign Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Paul Robinson has been cancelled. The ex England goalkeeper was set to have a medical at Upton Park today but has spent today at Ewood Park negotiating the terms of the pay off his contract with the Championship side, and the deal is reportedly now "not happening." It is not clear what the issue with the deal is, but a little bird tells us that a superior alternative becoming available was a factor in the deal being cancelled... keep watching.
