Hammers in talks with young French star

Valenciennes president Jean-Raymond Legrand has told Sky Sports that three Premier League clubs- including West Ham- are in talks with his club's young defensive prodigy Nicolas Isamat-Mirin. The 21 year old centre half is highly rated in France and has made three appearances for the French U21 side. The only catch for the Irons is that as part of any potential deal, the Ligue One side would want Isamat-Mirin to stay with the club for the remainder of the campaign and complete his move to England in June- not ideal for a West Ham side who need defensive reinforcements immediately. Reports from France claim that Legrand was at last night's defeat at Craven Cottage ahead of proposed talks; his star man has also been linked with Fulham, as well as Newcastle. This one could well develop, so keep watching Blowing Bubbles!
