Adding injury to insult: Dan Potts still in hospital

West Ham's young defender Dan Potts in still in hospital today after falling heavily following a challenge with Arsenal's Bacary Sagna in last night 5-1 defeat at the Emirates Stadium last night. The eighteen year old full back received lengthy treatment immediately after going down but was stretchered off and spent last night in hospital. According to the official club website, Potts will undergo scans and further assessment in hospital today and further updates will be available on the website and official club Twitter feed "as and when is appropriate." The news is another injury blow to the Hammers, who are hamstrung across the back four (pun intended) with centre halves James Collins and Winston Reid both struggling with injuries. A recurring hamstring injury kept Welsh cruncher Collins out of last night's game and Winston Reid too limped off out of the clash at the Emirates Stadium last night with a groin injury which he is having a scan on within the next few days. With six days before the next game, the Irons have a bit of respite but with three defenders all facing spells on the sideline and some huge games coming up, it's difficult not to worry as a fan...
