Over like a Shot: young striker returns from loan spell at League Two side

West Ham striker Paul McCallum has returned to the club after a highly productive loan spell at League Two outfit Aldershot Town.
The 19 year old forward played 9 times for the Shots, scoring 3 goals and became a real fan's favourite at the Recreation Ground during his one month loan spell which was extended to keep him at the club until the end of the Football League season.

Sadly, McCallum's excellent performances were not enough to stop Aldershot tumbling out of the division, their fate being sealed by a 2-0 final day defeat to Rotherham. Nevertheless, the young striker, who also excelled during a spell at Wimbledon earlier in the season, will take confidence from his time in Hampshire and will return to action for the Hammers next season even stronger.
