Several reports today claim that Celtic striker Gary Hooper has told Scottish champions Celtic of his desire to move to Norwich.

Odds on the striker making the move to Carrow Road this transfer window have been slashed, with the East Anglian side now 1/2 at Sky Bet to land him.

Hooper, 25, was reported last week to have told close friends that he was keen on a move to London to sign for West Ham. However, the Hammers are not believed to have made an official approach for the former Scunthorpe man and Norwich boss Chris Hughton looks likely to seal a deal for the Essex boy in the next few days and gazumph both the Irons and Championship side QPR.

However, Celtic boss Neil Lennon has previously stated that none of his players will be sold at knock-down prices and recently saw midfield man Victor Wanyama move to Southampton for £12m and Norwich's latest bid for Hooper is thought to be some way below the club's valuation of Hooper, according to reports in this morning's Daily Record.
