Hammers to bid for Albion's Dorrans

West Ham are ready to test West Bromwich Albion's resolve with a bid for their Scotland international Graham Dorrans.

The Hammers have in recent years made attempts to sign the Baggies man and in 2010 had three separate bids rejected.

However, the situation has changed since then and in January, Dorrans was told by West Brom boss Steve Clarke that he was surplus to requirements. The 26 year had previously been stripped of the club's captaincy.

Premier League new boys Cardiff are expected to rival the Irons for the Scotsman's signature.
