Henderson in line for Ireland debut

West Ham goalkeeper Stephen Henderson is all set to earn his first cap for the Republic of Ireland in the February 6 friendly with Poland in Dublin. The 24 year old stopper, born in the Eire capital, has just arrived back at the Boleyn Ground after a productive loan spell with Npower Championship strugglers Ipswich Town, and will now be setting his sights on claiming the Hammers number one jersey from Jussi Jaaskelainen. A first international cap in the meantime will surely do the big Irishman the world of good in the meantime and be the first step in a long road for Henderson.
